Calling on our neighbors in Evesham, Pemberton, Lumberton, Mt Holly and Mt Laurel! Pinelands Preservation Alliance has received grant funding for the Delaware River Landscape Makeover Program.

A number of Burlington County municipalities are targeted including Evesham, Pemberton, Lumberton, Mt Holly and Mt Laurel.  The grant provides for one or two publicly installed green infrastructure projects in these municipalities.

The second piece of the project is a homeowner landscape makeover, which entails any resident in the above-mentioned municipalities to participate in a rain garden training session and then, if interested, schedule a 1:1 meeting with Rutgers engineers and a landscape designer to prepare a Rain Garden installation project for their home.  Once homeowner installs the project, they will be eligible for up to $450 in rebate funding.

The first homeowner rain garden training session is on February 22 either at noon or 7 PM
