Botanicals! Flowers As Food.
“It’s pretty, but can you eat it?” This class explores how to incorporate common edible flowers into your cooking, to add an extra touch of special to your favorite dishes. Our instructor, Chef Tamara, will talk about some of these blooms and how they can be used, giving a demonstration on steeping plants in a simple syrup for summer drinks. Flowers will be available to taste and smell. The class will roll their own fresh spring rolls to enjoy together, using flowers to create artful designs inside the rolls.
