Elegant Zabaione

An elegant zabaione.

Zabaione is an elegant  Italian dessert whose origins date back into the 15th century. A light custard made with a sweet wine is whipped to a froth and served with fresh fruit or Italian dipping cookies such as savoiardi (Italian ladyfingers), or amaretti . In this class, Chef Mike will take you on a deep dive into the process of making this traditional dessert his family has been making since he was a boy. We will eat our creation together in class.
