Kids in the Garden: Seed Super Powers!

Seeds of the common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) on their pod.

How do seeds travel the world? They travel by air, water, as hitchhikers and by exploding!

Through hands-on activities, we will experiment with all the different ways seeds travel, we’ll taste assorted edible seeds, and then we will make our own paper with seeds to take home and plant. This is a Make, Take, Taste and Do class that is interactive.

The class is geared to ages 5-10. Children can be dropped off, but each ticket includes a supervising adult if you prefer. Rain or shine, we will be outside if weather allows.
