Plant-Based Cooking Series for the Home Chef

This hands-on healthy cooking course is designed to help you nourish yourself and those you cook for. Learn practical skills in the kitchen, plus recipes and techniques to prepare healthy meals for your table. The series will also cover related nutritional knowledge, and how to be an educated grocery shopper. Students will come away inspired and empowered to apply plant-based eating principles to everyday meals. Fee includes ingredients, and a compiled book of recipes and related materials.

The course will cover the following themes:

  • Feb 15: Soups
  • Feb 22: Grains
  • March 1: Proteins
  • March 8: Desserts
  • March 15: a Brunch menu (with meal to follow)

Christina MartinĀ is a plant based chef, healthy food advocate, and nutrition columnist. After she earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Rowan University, she embraced a career change and completed a culinary degree at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College and Atlantic Culinary Academy. Christina seeks to share her love for cooking through teaching, with a focus on the basics of healthy, sustainable cooking. She is the founder of Cooking to Nourish a healthy lifestyle website, and is rolling out a plant-based food cart Spring 2018.
