Rosemary Rhubarb Jam Canning

What is rhubarb?  Rhubarb is harvested in the spring with a short season from April – June, just like strawberries. Fresh rhubarb looks a lot like celery and has a naturally tart flavor, so that’s why it’s usually baked in a pie or made into a jam with a generous serving of sugar.  Take this spring time favorite and add some fresh herbs! You’ll be making a savory and sweet with a touch of tart jam. Class is hands on and participants will take home a jar of their goods.
