Soft Pretzels with Cheese Sauce


Nothing beats a warm soft pretzel for an autumn snack! In this class you learn the basics that can be applied to creating your own soft pretzels at home. We will prepare, roll out and shape our dough into pretzel bites. Our instructor will teach how to prepare a scratch cheese sauce, using a bechamel mother sauce. We’ll touch on how this basic mother sauce is used in many other ways. And then the class will dive into cooking the pretzels so we can enjoy them together in class. If we have extra dough, we’ll review how to twist dough for a traditional Philly soft pretzel!
