It’s that Certified Organic ‘Dog Days of Summer’ time of year again ~ at 1895 Organic Farm. The heat will not let up, and neither do our farmers. 1895 Organic Farm will have their always picture perfect variety of tomatoes, more zucchini, potatoes, squash, amazing onions, peppers, eggplant, beets and their spaghetti squash is ready for the market.

The beef is back at Cranberry Hall Farm! Look for their full line of steaks, t-bones, porterhouse, ribeye, sirloin, chipsteak, beef cubes, beef patties, ground beef, tongue, heart and liver. I think that covers it 🙂 Also, look for sweet corn, tomatoes, peaches, cantaloupes, cucumbers, peppers and more.

Blackberries, sweet corn, and a sea of tomatoes just begins to describe Durr Farm. Stop by for all of their field ripe tomatoes, heirlooms, cherry and heirloom cherry tomatoes, candy, red and white onions, red and white potatoes, eggplant varieties, lots of peaches, fresh bouquets of sunflowers ~ and a host of other flower bunches and bouquets.

Blueberry season is never long enough. But, Whalen Farms continues to bring us their sweet berries for now. You might want to stock up for those cold winter days when you just want a little piece of summer on your hot pancakes. Want to grow your own blueberries? You can do that, too.

It’s always planting season at Pinelands Produce! And there’s still time to plant tomatoes, peppers and cucamelons, too. Who doesn’t love a good cucamelon anyway? Look for their assorted herbs and flowers for planting, and continue making your home garden a place of beauty. They’ll also have their mixed microgreens and pea shoots, along with mixed cherry tomatoes, limited larger heirlooms and slicing tomatoes. Shishito peppers, serrano peppers and heatless jalapeno peppers will be at the market, too. Everything on their farm is grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.

Cherry Grove Farm is not just cheese. Ask about their meats. You’ll be happy you did.

These donuts go fast at Four Green Cats along with their other authentic European delicacies.

It’s going to be a hot one on Saturday, so Wildflour Bakery recommends their own cool-down post-market favorite treat of toasted baguette topped with cream cheese, fresh cucumber slices and fresh tomatoes ~ sprinkled with a touch of sea salt and pepper. Very cool indeed. Pick up their fresh focaccia, more baguettes, sandwich rolls, pullman loaves, sweets and pastries, too.

MECHA Chocolate will have the Summer Box, and the Brew Bean & BBQ Box, along with their other favorites like their Herb Garden Box. Welcome Back Mecha!

Cheese Etc. & Gourmet Gifts is back this week with all your favorite cheese spreads. What new this week? ~ Blueberry & Peach flavors. All Jersey Fresh of course!

CJ’s Salsas will have their regular salsas, along with Grilled pineapple salsa, Nectarine blueberry salsa, Chipotle hummus and Serrano hummus!

There’s nothing better than Peewee’s Ice Cream on a hot day…..or any day really. Try their Peach crisp, Lavender honey vanilla bean (v), Cookies & cream (v) and introducing a new solid gold limited flavor ~ Blackberry lemon shortbread, made with Durr Farm’s blackberries and Mill Creek Apiary’s honey. Of course Peewee’s will have Peewee pops, freezer pops, and chipwiches…. while they last.
