Busy Bee Farm, Tabernacle, NJ

Busy Bee Farm - Toni Price

As one of the original BCCAC vendors, we are proud to be a part of the market’s growth and development. Our Tabernacle farm is home to several beehives and a few are located elsewhere for educational purposes. Busy Bee Farm is certified as a Bee Friendly Farm by Partners for Sustainable Pollination and the Xerxes Society for Invertebrate Conservation has recognized the farm’s official Pollinator Habitat. A certified Monarch Way Station was also created in 2014. Owners Steve & Toni Price are members of the NJ Beekeepers Association. Busy Bee Farm also produces pesticide free lavender and a variety of herbs, aronia and broom corn as well. They are charter members of the US Lavender Growers Association.

Steve has served on the Tabernacle School Board for more than 20 years and is a semi-retired excavating contractor. Toni has served as Co-Chair of Friends of Rancocas Nature Center, is the founding president of the RNC Native Plant Society chapter, and is a Master Gardener Educator. Both enjoy teaching others about the importance of pollinators and sustainable ecology.
