DESCRIPTION:As part of our Kids in the Garden sessions\, Miss Mindy presents a four-week series of classes on plants! \nChomp\, Chomp\, Carnivorous Plants! Learn about common carnivorous plants and how they live. Catch “bugs” like a Venus flytrap in a puppet game\, wear big catcher vests to catch “bugs” like a sundew. We’ll play a pitcher plant game and an aquatic carnivorous plant game. And we’ll make a Venus fly trap puppet to take home. \nWe will be outdoors\, weather permitting\, and have indoor space in case of inclement weather. Mindy’s classes are designed as drop off classes\, but each ticket includes a supervising adult if you are more comfortable staying. \nWe encourage you to sign up for all four classes in the series\, but it is not mandatory.

DESCRIPTION:A fun Kids in the Kitchen offering! \nKitchen scraps are plentiful in a busy kitchen\, and many of those scraps will regrow for you! While we create quick dish to eat together\, you’ll plant a windowsill garden with the vegetable “scraps.” Participants will eat what we make together in class and go home with the skills to keep regrowing some easy veg. \nWe will send home what is not cooked for your child to share. (Each registration includes one adult and one child 8-12 years old.)
