Davia's Spelt Tart Crust

Ingredients

Unsalted Butter
cold

Spelt or All-Purpose Flour

Sugar

Egg

Baking Powder

tsp
Salt
Instructions
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add Butter: Cut in cold butter until mixture is crumbly.
Add Egg: Mix in the egg until a dough forms. Do not overwork.
Chill Dough: Wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Roll & Bake: Roll out on floured surface and press into tart pan. Blind bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 min with pie weights if pre-baking.
