Brewing Guidelines for Loose Leaf Teas
2-3 grams (1 teaspoon-ish) per cup
Black tea - 208 degrees Fahrenheit, 3-5 minutes
Puerh tea - 195 degrees, 4 minutes
Oolong tea - 195 degrees, 4 minutes
White tea - 185 degrees, 4 minutes
Chinese Green tea - 175 degrees, 3 minutes
Japanese Green tea - 160-175 degrees, 30 seconds to 2 minutes
Brewing Guidelines for Cold Brew Tea
4-6 grams (2 teaspoon-ish) per cup
For hot tea, use about 2-3 grams (1 teaspoon-ish) per cup
For iced tea, add 2 times the amount of tea you would use for a hot cup, approx. 2 teaspoons per cup and 3 Tablespoon's per quart.
