Braised Cabbage in Coconut Cream

Ingredients

small head of cabbage
sliced into thick wedges
1-2
tbsp
olive oil

cup
coconut cream
1
medium onion
sliced
1-2
cloves garlic
minced
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Sear cabbage wedges in a hot oven-safe pan with olive oil on both sides until lightly browned.
Add onion and garlic to the pan, sautéing 2–3 minutes.
Pour coconut cream over the cabbage, season with salt and pepper, and transfer the pan to the oven.
Bake 15–20 minutes until cabbage is tender and sauce slightly reduced.
Notes
Try this also with the Tahini Drizzle we used on the roasted carrots and sweet potatoes.
