Braised Cabbage in Coconut Cream

Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage sliced into thick wedges
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup coconut cream
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1-2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sear cabbage wedges in a hot oven-safe pan with olive oil on both sides until lightly browned.
- Add onion and garlic to the pan, sautéing 2–3 minutes.
- Pour coconut cream over the cabbage, season with salt and pepper, and transfer the pan to the oven.
- Bake 15–20 minutes until cabbage is tender and sauce slightly reduced.
Notes
Try this also with the Tahini Drizzle we used on the roasted carrots and sweet potatoes.
