Celebrating 20 Years of Local Flavor: Burlington County Farmers Market Returns for Early Spring
Join us for our Pre-Season Farmers Markets on:
March 8th, March 22nd, April 12th, & April 26th, from 10-1 pm!
The Burlington County Farmers Market is celebrating its 20th year, and what better way to kick things off than with four Pre-Season Markets before the season officially begins on May 9th.
Mark your calendars for Saturdays, March 14, March 28, April 11, and April 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Burlington County Agricultural Center, 500 Centerton Rd., Moorestown, NJ. These early markets are a chance to embrace the feeling of renewal that spring brings, while supporting local farms and artisans.
Shoppers can look forward to seasonal produce from Black Sheep Farm, Pinelands Produce and Stephen Specca Farms. Expect to find broccoli, leafy greens, asparagus, and radishes, alongside sustainably raised meats, eggs, artisan cheeses and seafood from Cherry Grove Farm, Little Hooves Romneys and Scallop Shack Farm. It’s time to pick up more local honey and mushrooms from Mill Creek Apiary and Davidson Mushrooms.

Returning bakers and food makers such as Wildflour Bakery, Tis So Sweet, Fishtown Pickle Project, Our Souls Shine, Mom Mom’s Polish Food, and Settantatre Pasta Co. will help you forget the time we’ve been apart and get you ready for the season ahead. And if you need a break from shopping, enjoy hot prepared treats from Humble Spud, The Soup Bar, and Tea-For-All while listening to live music. Our Cooking Demos also return early with the first demo on March 14th.
Early spring is the perfect time to think about garden plans. As the Pre-Season moves along, you can find daylilies, annuals, perennials, houseplants, vegetable seedlings, and vegetable starts from local farms like Bart’s Flowers, Springville Herbary, Hope Sprouts, Peonies, Petals & Poseys, and Oak Tree Acres.
This milestone season is more than just a market—it’s a community celebration of 20 years of fresh food, local farms, and shared experiences. Bring your bags, bundle up, and join your neighbors in welcoming spring at the Pre-Season Farmers Market.
