What is kohlrabi?  In German, Kohl means “cabbage” and rabi means “turnip”!  The taste and texture is similar to the stem of broccoli with a crisp and juicy flesh just like an apple.  You can eat raw in a salad or cooked – in a fritter!  Pick up some kohlrabi at the farmers market to make these delicious fritters.
