Foggy Bottom Tree Farm, located in Columbus, NJ is one of only three nurseries in the country licensed to grow Rutgers University’s Landmark Series of Hazelnuts. Bred for resistance to Eastern Filbert Blight, these trees produce abundant quantities of large, tasty nuts. These are the first European hazelnuts suitable for planting east of the Mississippi. Foggy Bottom Tree Farm primarily wholesales container grown hazelnuts to commercial orchards in the eastern United States and Canada, but we are happy to provide some of these superior trees to backyard gardeners in our home county. In addition to hazelnuts, we will also bring container grown fig trees, Chinese chestnuts, papaws, persimmons, white fir and Norway spruce.
