I’ve always had a passion for gardening, so enrolling in the Rutgers Master Gardener program in 2018 was a natural next step. There, I dove into the worlds of botany and horticulture – knowledge that seamlessly translated into caring to and propagating houseplants. Paired with plenty of reading and research, this foundation sparked an idea; why not turn my love for plants into a business?
That’s how Sprout and About Plant Truck LLC was born – now blossomed into Sprout and About Mobile Houseplant Boutique. This season marks my debut at farmers markets and vendor events, and it been both exciting and rewarding to see my vision start to take root. While I don’t have the truck just yet, you’ll find me under my pop-up tent, surrounded by lush greenery and carefully arranged risers, sharing my passion one plant at a time.

This traveling plant boutique offers a variety of plants that cater to novice houseplant enthusiasts and adept plant collectors. The boutique also offers an assortment of Houseplants; plant pots and accessories tailored for houseplant care and maintenance. By setting up shop at local events, markets, and neighborhoods, Sprout and About makes it convenient for people to explore, purchase and get expert advice on plant care. Fostering a sense of community and encouraging sustainable and green living practices it’s more than just a shopping experience; it’s an opportunity to connect with nature and inspire a love for plants.
