Now that apples are in, and everything pumpkin is not far behind, let’s take a moment and applaud the pepper. These unwavering and versatile gems that lead us into the summer, and stay with us until first frost, may not get the accolades they deserve. We appreciate the beauty and spice they bring to the market each week 🙂 Be sure to take home your favorites!

1895 Organic Farm continues with their bounty of colorful peppers, kale, potatoes, beets, carrots, onions, chard, eggplant, spaghetti squash and butternut squash ~ all Certified Organic 24/7

Pinelands Produce has those awesome microgreen samplers, pea shoots, cherry salad tomatoes, green tomatoes, and countless peppers ~ mixed sweet, shishito, fish, serrano, jalapeno, poblano and heat-less jalapenos. Take some home! Easter egg radishes continue on as well as fresh cut green basil, Thai and lemon basil, chives, sage, mint and a limited number of slicing tomatoes……. and butternut squash.

Durr Farm continues to bring their bounty with tables full of summer’s best as we head toward the fall. Sweet corn is still sweet, tomatoes are staying the course, eggplant, squashes, potatoes, onions, the many varieties and colors of peppers and so much more will be at the market ~
Tis So Sweet Bakey has those delicious pumpkin pies arriving ~ 6″ and 9″
CJ’s Salsas will have their usual lineup of Guacamole, Pico, Pineapple, Mango, Spanish bread dip, Street corn, Black bean and corn, along with a new arrival of Long Hot Hummus!
Simply Bella’s is running a special for their Pineapple Simple Syrups for just $5. Look for her outside along the walkway this week ~ in her new space.
Little Hooves Romneys has the recipe for BBQ Lamb Short Ribs! As always, most lamb cuts are available, including a nice selection of lamb sausages and farm fresh eggs. Not a big meat eater? Then pick up your eggs and all the veggies needed for a great omelette. Make the most of the Farmers Market with all its
local delicacies!

Wildflour Bakery is excited for the fall, and will have their pumpkin bread and pumpkin hand pies back this week. This is the last week for sundried tomato Asiago loaves, while pumpkin cranberry will be back til the end of the month. Pre-ordering is still available here at Wildflour Bakery/Shop. Select Burlington County Market as your shipping method at checkout. Orders must be placed by 12pm today for tomorrow’s pick up at the market.

It’s a very exciting week at Cherry Grove Farm ~ Abruzze Jawn is out of the caves! This Pepper Jack cheese made with green pepper corns, garlic powder, onion powder and red pepper flakes, packs a subtle punch and makes exceptional omelettes! They’ll also have their Buttercup brie, Havilah, some Trilby and Rarebird. Look for their grass and whey fed beef and pork products, too.

MECHA Chocolate will have Pumpkin Spiced Toffee and their Fall Box : Pumpkin pie, Apple cider, PB pretzel, Hazelnut, Double dark, and Maple pecan pie this Saturday! MECHA is proud to introduce a new item this week ~ 8 oz. bags of Double Chocolate Cherry Granola for $10.
As always, Cheese Etc. & Gourmet Gifts will have your favorite cheese spreads on hand. Have you tried their Buffalo Blue yet? If you like that buffalo wing flavor, then you will love this spread.
