Autumn in Here!

Join Us for Apple Appreciation Day- October 18th from 8:30am-1pm

Autumn brings crisp air and the vibrant colors we’ve all been waiting for, and it’s the perfect time to enjoy New Jersey’s local apples.

Apple Appreciation Day!

On October 18th from 8:30-1pm, the Burlington County Farmers Market is celebrating all things apple! Join us for Apple Appreciation Day, a market day dedicated to this seasonal favorite. We’ll have apple basket giveaways all morning, but you must know your varieties!  We’ll have free Apple Cider courtesy of Folks Farm & Market, Apple Pie ice cream samples courtesy of Peewee’s Ice Cream and Apple Crisp samples courtesy of Tis So Sweet Bakery, while supplies last. We’ll also have a kids’ craft and a cookie decorating station. As you enter the market or when you leave, stop for a minute, and help us complete the apple-themed community mural.

Apple-themed baked goods, prepared apple dishes and a wide variety of sweet, tart, and juicy apples can be found throughout the market. Robson’s Farm, Folks Farm & Market, Black Sheep Farm, James Durr Farm, and Cranberry Hall Farm will be packed with freshly harvested apples ready for you to take home. Whether you’re looking for a tart variety for baking or a sweet variety to munch on, they have what’s local.

Stop by the Farmhouse Kitchen at 10am for a chef-led, apple-inspired cooking demonstration. Arrive early to grab a seat and enjoy a taste of the delicious creations. Afterward, relax and picnic under the trees while enjoying live music from The Classic Rock Band, and savor the flavors of fall.
