A knife is the most valuable tool in your kitchen. It’s your workhorse, and the more comfortable you are using it the more work you will get out of it. In this class we’ll guide you through building grain bowls focusing on knifework. Chef Tamara will start with a discussion of knives, then take a lesson on getting those blades lightening sharp We’ll slice, chop and carve our vegetables to assemble a tasty (and healthy) lunch to enjoy as a class or enjoy at home.
Please bring your favorite knife from home. Knives are provided in the farmhouse kitchen but it’s best to work with a familiar tool.
