Pickling: The Root of the Matter

What’s in season in the dead of winter? Root vegetables! Join Chef Tamara in the Farmhouse kitchen to trim and cut seasonal root vegetables and create your own spice blend! We’ll talk about flavor profiles and spice combinations, then combine a sugar and a vinegar blend for your pickles. During class we’ll taste some premade pickles and send you home with your jar to steep.
