Here is where you really learn the difference between black tea from a teabag and the magnificent single origin loose leaf teas from China, Sri Lanka, Africa and India. We'll explore how black tea is made and its history (legend has it that it was a mistake!). You'll try different flushes of the same tea and learn how terroir (love that wine term!) impacts a tea's flavor and complexity.

We'll explore and taste several chai blends and learn the brewing techniques to serve them as straight teas or in traditional Indian ways. We'll brew and whip up latte combinations, discovering the fun, art and tastiness of these up-and-coming tea beverages.
