Brewing Guidelines for Loose Leaf Teas
2-3 grams (1 teaspoon-ish) per cup
- Black tea - 208 degrees Fahrenheit, 3-5 minutes
- Puerh tea - 195 degrees, 4 minutes
- Oolong tea - 195 degrees, 4 minutes
- White tea - 185 degrees, 4 minutes
- Chinese Green tea - 175 degrees, 3 minutes
- Japanese Green tea - 160-175 degrees, 30 seconds to 2 minutes
Brewing Guidelines for Cold Brew Tea
4-6 grams (2 teaspoon-ish) per cup
- Add water to your measured tea and place container in refrigerator for 12-16 hours
- Strain and enjoy!
Notes
For hot tea, use about 2-3 grams (1 teaspoon-ish) per cup
For iced tea, add 2 times the amount of tea you would use for a hot cup, approx. 2 teaspoons per cup and 3 Tablespoon's per quart.
